    I love the work on the greeter, really functional and polished, using it on Xubuntu 13.10. I have 2 questions though:

    1. I’d like to add transparency to the panel, i tried using alpha instead of shade in general colors in the Greybird theme but the widgets don’t turn trasparent.

    2. I’d like to use the greeter as a lock screen instead of xscreensaver, how do I do that?

    Thanks in advance, and keep the good job!

    After some tweaking I finally found what was the problem, the menu bar was indeed turning transparent, but it works independent from the panel. I tried this settings and now it works wonders!

    #panel_window {
    background-color: alpha (@lightdm_bg_color, 0.6);
    color: @lightdm_fg_color;
    #panel_window .menubar,
    #panel_window .menubar > .menuitem {
    background-color: alpha (@lightdm_bg_color, 0);
    color: @lightdm_fg_color;

    I gave the panel 60% transparency to emulate my actual xfce panel, and made the menubar completely transparent so that it doesn’t overlap with the panel. As for the locker, it works wonders!

    I’m really thankful for the help, and keep doing a great job of making Linux awesome!
